Buying pre-owned luxury for the first time: a simple method
Pre-owned is the easiest way to own a piece from a house like Hermès, Chanel or Louis Vuitton for less, or to find a model that's no longer made. A few habits make the first purchase safe.
For a first purchase, choose a marketplace that checks items before listing and holds your payment until you've received the piece, and prefer items it manages itself.
01Buy on a platform that protects you

02Prefer items managed by the platform

03Read the listing like an inspector
